Teleferic Barcelona is ready to take all of your senses to the precious Galician Land.

Galicia is a Spanish autonomous region located at the Nord East of the Iberian peninsula. The official language is Spanish but they also speak Galician which is a mixture between Spanish and Portuguese, this dialect comes from the middle age. This region has 2.7 million inhabitants. In Galicia, the white wine is well known thanks to its powerful albariños denomination Rías Baixas. The albariño gallego is a type of white wine famous in the whole world.

With an extensive wine culture, Galicia has become one of the regions with the best wines in the world. Rías Baixas, Valdeorras, Ribeira Sacra, Ribeiro and Monterrei are the denominations of origin of Galicia. Origin, tradition, authenticity and typicity are combined in the different varieties to create unique wines, which have already conquered the most demanding palates.

In this context, Galicia has become in recent years a reference to wine tourism. More and more people decide to visit this land for the quality of its wines, to visit its wineries and to taste the history and tradition of the viticulture of Galicia.

In this occasion our wine expert Juan Perez from Madrid will be leading the event and bring to all of you an amazing wine experience that will take our palate to the Nord-East of Spain.

Galicia is worldwide known for the incredible white wines and sea food. It became one of the best regions to produce wines in the world.

The menu for this event is a combination of the most popular regions as Rias Baixas, Ribeiro , Ribeira Sacra and traditional sea food and fish dishes.

Galician rocks :: warm salad of smoked ham with 'tetilla cheese', smoked ham, potatoes, 'escabeche' mussels and spanish paprika vinagrette.

Oyster Rockabilly :: miyagi oyster, sauteed seaweed, lobster velouté, san simón cheese

Serra Peña D.O Ribeiro
Bacalao en caldereta :: ling cod, red sauce, potatoes, clams

Algueira mencia D.O Ribeira Sacra
Empanada de Raixo :: galician empanada with pork and vegetables

Orujo de Hierbas
Queimada de filhoas :: galician crêpe in an alcoholic fire
