Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and assist the Head Chef in creating and executing exceptional dishes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and culinary creativity, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development

  • Oversee and train kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service

  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation

  • Monitor and control inventory, labor, and other costs to maximize revenue and minimize waste

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

  • Participate in the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of kitchen staff

  • Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence

Pay Range:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • Ability to manage inventory, labor, and other costs to maximize profitability

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience preferred
